So its extremely humid here in Montreal and my sprouts are all going moldy or turning sour. I've tried rinsing them several times a day with no luck. I'm doing what I can to fix the problem but any suggestions would be helpful. So to the rice and beans...anyone out there eat sprouted rice and beans with...let's say curry? If so, what types of rice do you use? I would like to use wild rice but not to sure if it would sprout. I haven't had much luck with rice in the past and really like rice and beans. Any ideas?

My understanding is that You have to be careful with beans - they aren't good for you raw

Wild rice is a grass, I've bought some, but have yet to use any. But it was recommended to me. Just keep in mind, it's not a grain, so may behave differently
That is my worry, I am trying to find another protein source than my rice and hemp protein. I cannot find any yellow pea protein in my area for some reason. Right now I am taking one morning smoothie and one big salald a day, but I would like to add the rice and bean combo to my raw foods diet but not sure the result and I cannot experiment because of the humidity here. Any other suggestion for raw protein source would be great also, willing to try anything to get away from the hemp protein and rice protein powders.
You don't need to overdose on protein powders, get a little bit in each meal by using variety. Protein appears in many vegan foods.

Nuts and seeds like;
pumpkin seeds
sunflower seeds
almonds
macadamia nuts
hemp seeds

Pseudograins like;
amaranth
quinoa (20% protein! 1 cup of quinoa is about half your daily intake of protein)

All the beans and peas too.
