share. learn. thrive!

does anyone know if vega sport has omega threes? My knees have started hurting after dance since I've switch to it (from whole health optimizer because of the higher protein levels). My muscle tone has improved but my joint pain has increased. I've recently bought chia seeds to add to my shakes  but I don't want to over do it. Does anyone have suggestions or knowledge.

Thanks and lots of love,

Jocelyn

Hi Jocelyn,

Our Vega Sport Optimizer and Sport Protein do not contain Omega 3. If you are looking to add Omega 3 to your diet you may want to consider our EFA oil (if you do not want to switch back to the WFHO), is a great additive to a smoothie or can be taken on its own. The below link will give you more details on the EFA oil.

Also, the Thrive book has lots of recipes use the EFA oil, flaxseed oil, and walnuts that provide good amounts of omega 3s.

Also, check your hydration levels. I know its jut recently become really hot in London ontario over the past few weeks..iIll assume the same for TOronto. If you're more dehydrated going into dance, and than sweat more than usual, your joint pain can be from being so dehydrated.
