I am training for a 10km race.  I have done a half marathon and other 10km races previously.  I am not sure how often I should be training for my 10km, is three times a week enough?

It depends. Are you trying to beat a certain time? How fast are you? how old? Do you have any pre-existing injuries? If you let me know these things, I can suggest a training plan for you--I train for 10ks and HMs often and have made training plans for many of my friends
hi there!
i am new here and i would love to hear you suggestion about a 10k training plan. i'm 29, a new runner, just did my first triathlon with a 5k run. never ran more than 5k. my best time is 28 minutes.

It'd be my pleasure!
Could you tell me just a couple more things? Do you have a history of any injuries? How much are you running right now (miles per week) and what is your longest run you do regularly? And are you looking to run the 10K in a specific time or just to complete it?
Good luck!

don't care about the time for now. maybe less than an hour? i run 9-10 minute miles. no injuries. i ran 3 miles, 3 times a week, total of about 9 miles.
thanks!!!

Great! Here's your plan: https://docs.google.com/document/pub?id=1S2P6S0yf0np0qw2PfGhU_km1kw...
I've set it up for 6 weeks, and you can obviously cut off or add a week if you need to. Let me know if you have any questions!
