Having a hard time doing cardio for more than 30 minutes!

So this morning I decided to try a Vega shake before and during my cardio thinking it my help my tiredness that I get after 30 min of cardio but it didn't. Normally, I don't eat before working out so I thought the shake would help. What do I do for stamina? 30 min is my max

Sounds like your not eating enough carbs and that is the "tiredness" you are experiencing. Do you think this could possibly be the case?

Also, you should always eat before cardio in my opinion or else you will have nothing to burn hence the "tiredness" which is actually counterproductive.
I agree. Try a few dates for some carbs to fuel your body during your workout.

Find a cardio activity that you truly enjoy and set small realistic goals for yourself during your workout. Best of luck!

HI Tessa,
It is recommended to eat Carbs before exercise and immediately afterwards and then protein (shake) a bit later to rebuild.

If you want to try something that might help you get a bit of extra edge you can try the Vega Sport drink (not the VEga sport protein shake) immediately before exercise and during. Many people swear by this. Give it a shot.
Good luck
Hi,

Seems like a lot of calories to be consuming for losing weight.

From what I am hearing from you it sounds like your not consuming ENOUGH calories to lose weight and your body is going into a state where your base metabolic rate is possibly going down. If you are eating 100% foods that are good for you, eat until your full, and your body will take care of the rest. I would worry less about the numbers and let your body do the talking.

The only reason I say this is because you should not be maxing out at 30 minutes of cardio.
