A friend of mine recently read and began to follow a book called The Beverly Hills Diet, which focuses on food combining. From the reading I've done on nutrition (both here, from Brendan's books, and other sources) and the importance of balanced meals on digestion, I pretty much immediately wrote off the idea that isolating carbs from meals and such as total fad crap to sell a few books to those desperate to lose weight just through eating.
However I've also seen discussions on Vega mentioning it now, and not claiming it to be nutritional blasphemy as I would've expected. Is there something to this concept? I hope not because it seems to contradict a huge part of what I understand nutritionally!
Help! Either with some scientific info, or articles/books to read! Thanks Vega people!
