Feedback on my diet? What do high-raw athletes eat?

Pre-workout: 2 oranges and lemon water
Workout: just an easy run today ~8 miles
Breakfast: smoothie with 3-4 frozen bananas, 1 large apple, 1/4 cup hemp protein, 1/4 hemp seeds, cinnamon, ginger
Snack: a few cashews
Lunch: Raw veggie wraps (collard wraps, carrots, bell peps, cucumber etc) with raw sauce made with 5 tbsp of almond butter, some sesame seeds and spices
snack: some avocado
dinner: 3 cups brown rice, shredded carrots, nutritional yeast, 1 avocado, steamed veggies (kale and cauliflower) and big salad with arugula
dessert: dark chocolate

What do you think? Am I missing anything? Do I need more of something? less? What could I do better to eat more thrive-like?"

What are your goals? Are you a runner or a body builder? These things will be pretty important to know what to think. Are you feeling good everyday? Are you recovering from your workouts and ready to go for the next one?

I might switch the lunch and dinner meals, I wouldn't want all that rice in me when I go to sleep. But I think your eating looks really clean. Good job. Have you thought of finding something to sprout instead of cooked rice ( I am assuming you are cooking your rice)? Or maybe soaking the kale and eating the cauliflower raw? These are only tweeks that came to my mind.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm decidedly a runner :o). I think I am recovering from my workouts, but I'm not a really good gauge of that right now, because I'm just doing a lot of base training. Also I don't think my digestion is as fast/optimal as it could be, you know?
As far as the rice issue, I've thought about sprouting grains, but I tend to find sprouted grains fairly indigestible. Are there any alternatives you can think of?
I'm a fan of food combining, as it's really helped me. Do you have any ideas for things I could eat as snacks that wouldn't violate food combining principles? Would juices be ok?

I recently started cutting back on the amount of bananas I consume as they are an inflammation inducer...When I do consume bananas BEFORE a workout I make sure to accompany them with a lot of ginger and a dash of turmeric to help counter the inflammation...if you want potassium with the quick energy provided by bananas, try eating organic raisins!

Everything else looks good to me! But try replacing that dark choco for dessert with 100% 'raw' cacao and maybe for breakfast have a tspn of honey right before your workout :D

Oh cool--I already started adding ginger and tons of arugula to my smoothie for inflammation! Also i'm a vegan so I'm gonna have to pass on the honey but raisins sound yummy.

Do either of you have any tips for getting more fat in without tons of nuts (which can be somewhat acidic)?
