1 training pass is like 20 min high intensity but 1 hour and 10 min moderate/low tempo first question with recipe in the thrive diet or fitness should i use for the training session, not so hard session.

Question 2. In the evening i had a hard session witch a bought the Pre workout drink Vega sport, and thought about have Vega whole food optimizer lite a post workout recovery drink , does this work well?

Question 3. Are really in to brendans recipe and do a new one every day but found a complement for smoothie to breakfast called the "The Ultimate Meal" who Mac Danzig the UFC fighter use and swear about, is this something good? Sorry Vega for ask about another product, but no one here in sweden understand vegetarian - trainign like you do( use all your products)..

Hi Magnus,
Glad you found us!
1-I'm going to need clarification on this one. Not really sure what you're asking.
2-Yes, the Health Optimizer is a great post workout drink. Brendan recommends having a near-liquid snack with a balance of carbs and protein within 45 minutes of a workout for best recovery.
3-I'm not too familiar with Ultimate Meal but I know that Mac uses Vega for his workout as a vegan athelete. Here's what Mac has to say: "Vega is the only whole-food meal replacement I take during the hard training cycles and I never go a day without it. It is by far, the most important meal of my day. With Vega, I've replaced 6 supplements I used to take and gained the convenience of being able to eat a complete meal anytime, anywhere. On top of that, it actually tastes good, unlike similar products I've tried in the past... Simply put, my diet wouldn't be complete without it."

Good luck!
Kelly

HI Magnus,

Although Kelly explained it really well I wonder if you will understand point 2.
It is recommended to have a recovery drink or a snack that has a 4 to 1 ratio of carbs to protein in the 45 min after your training. This is the time when your muscles need to replenish the depleted glycogen. It's the ideal window to do this. Only then, perhaps an hour to 1h30 after this recovery drink or snack depending on how you feel, you should take the Whole Food Health Optimizer. At that time you body is ready for more protein and the fact that this is in a shake form means your body (still recovering from hard exercise) doesn't have to do too much work to digest.

Brendon, lists many recipes for recovery drinks in both Thrive Fitness and Thrive Diet.

I hope this makes sense.
All the best
Anne
