I'm wondering if anyone has tried making the energy bars and then dehydrating them? This would make it easier for traveling and for long bike rides.
My favorite are the Mango coconut energy bars. The problem with them is that they thaw very quickly and are then messy to eat. They are great right out of the freezer, but if I want to pack one for lunch it is mush by the time I can eat it.
has any one tried it? or is there any reason not to?
