Hi Brendan,
I really like the new Vega Sport but i need some more info on it. I really enjoy it for shorter workouts and short races like 1-2 hour events. I would really like to know if you think it would be well suited to use during an ironman event specifically the ironman run. I usually try and take in approx. 200-260 calories per hour, would taking 3 servings per hour of Vega Sport be too much for my body considering the caffeine in each serving? Is Vega Sport designed more for shorter workouts and races? My estimated time in ironman marathon would be 3h40m so i would probably take about 11 servings during ironman run, is that too much for my body?
Appreciate any ideas/thoughts you have on this matter.
Thanks

Is Brendan aware of the following report with regards to PET bottles.
Antimony in Plastic Water Bottles
Is he also aware of the problem with Almonds in California being irradiated?
I would also like to know why the Almonds, that are used in the Energy Bars, are not blanched and the skins removed.
When will the Vega Gels become available for Testing? I'm more than willing to put them through a taste and performance test.
Thank you, Michael.
Permalink Reply by Keith Manna on July 16, 2011 at 10:13am Brendan, I'm looking forward to starting the Thrive Fitness program, however I was wondering if you have
any suggestions for the "continually changing movement activity" if I work an opposite shift and don't
have the opportunity to meet up with someone else while I'm free (and they are working). Are there activities
I can participate in on an individual basis? If not, any suggestions for a substitution for those days? Thanks.

I'm a cyclist at a high competitive level, and I'm always looking for new ways to improve recovery. I newly discovered the hemp protein powder, and I'm thinking about testing it out. On the internet i have read that the hemp protein powder comes from the hemp seeds from the hemp plant. Its also from this plant they make the narcotic drug THC. As THC is illegal to use within sports, THC will give a positive drug test. Is there any level of THC in hemp protein powder? And can this give a positive drug test?

Thanks!
Permalink Reply by Richard St-Onge on September 22, 2011 at 6:47pm Brendan...I'm interested in knowing if there has been any thought or development towards making little gel packets like PowerBar/GEW/Cliff has produced as an energy boost product? I find them convenient, especially when going for a training ride.
Thx

Permalink Reply by Michael on October 4, 2011 at 12:16pm what are the differences in Vega Whole Food Health optimizer and the other greens out there like Green Vibrance, Vitamineral and Beachbody Shakeology?
Thanks
Permalink Reply by Jeanette Annecchini on November 16, 2011 at 8:42pm Next to the BCAA's on the Performance Protein Ingredient Listing, there are the names of the protein sources in brackets...I am assuming that the BCAA's are from these sources listed in the brackets and are therefore naturally occurring? But I also heard from a representative from VEGA that the added L-leucine is derived from glucose of non-GMO corn...if this is correct how many grams are added and how many are naturally occurring?
Thank you :)
