share. learn. thrive!

Hi Everyone,
I'm really trying to minimize (almost eliminate) my use of plastic with food.  I have about a gazillion mason jars at the moment for grains, nuts, dried fruit, etc.  In any case, I'm wondering if anyone has figured out a good way to store the energy bars without plastic wrap, and without too much sticking?
(I'd rather not use wax paper or aluminum foil either).

I usually spread my energy bar batter into the bottom of glass tupperware containers, or roll them into balls, then freeze or refrigerate them. I have an eight-piece set of round pyrex glass tupperware containers from Bed Bath& Beyond, and I also have a set of square and rectangular shaped ones from Costco. The containers come in all different sizes and stack well, which is quite convenient. Both sets have plastic tops, but as the food I put in them usually does not touch the top its fine. Even though they have plastic parts, at least the tops are reusable and don't get thrown out after one use. I hope this helps.
Yes thank you so much! I just tried using a pyrex the other day, and it worked out great :).
Great tip!

Thanks
