Does anyone know if its possible to make a 'yogurt' or 'kefir' out of
almond milk?
I have done it with regular dairy in the past but would rather not - i know it may not be truly raw if it requires heat - but i
am open to suggestions :)

You could try something along these lines: http://goneraw.com/recipe/yogurt-parfait
Thanks Sarah! - great idea but I don't eat tofu - i am wondering if there is a natural 'fermenting' process i can use with nuts and/or nut milks....

Tofu is actually not raw. I haven't tried with nut milk yet, as I can't buy the nut milk here without additives... with that you can't make yogurt. I will make some nut milk myself later and try the yogurt. Though yogurt is made at 42C so I don't think that exceeds the raw food temperate limit?

I actually just started buying a brand called "Amande" that is almond milk yogurt. So I know it's definitely possible!

I found one at the health food store the other day, it does exist! Sorry I don't remember the brand (that sucker was polished off in like 2 days)

There's also Coconut Yogurt as well. As with all of them, try to do unsweetened and add ur own fruit. Damn cane sugar adds up quick!

Making almond or coconut yogurt is very easy and tastes SO good.  Try this recipe:
